With the recent incorporation of Head Coach, Marcos Garcia, Academia de Real Internacional are delighted to announce the appointment of Assistant Coach, Jose Lozano. Who will accompany Coach Garcia during the 2023/24 season.
Coach Lozano, originally from Granada, Spain, is a young and driven individual that will bring his energy and desire to our Academy Programme. Having previously played at the highest youth level within Andalusia and progressing to Semi Professional Football, Coach Lozano provides a modern outlook on the game.
Whilst previously coaching at Development Academy level within the Province of Granada, and currently furthering his coaching studies, Coach Lozano is an exciting UEFA B License Coach that really breaks down the game and has been developing his coaching style under some of Spains best coaches.
We caught up with Jose Lozano and he had the following to say on his new appointment:
"It is a positive step for me in my coaching career to be able to partake in such an exciting project such as the Academia. I am looking forward to working alongside Marcos and the Coaching Staff on a daily basis in an environment which is not really offered to many players on a national scale here, let alone an international scale."
"I have a lot of desire to continue climbing the ladder in my coaching career and this is a very big step in doing so. I am looking forward to the start of the 2023/24 season."
