Academia de Real Internacional are delighted to welcome new Head of Goalkeeping Adrian Cano! Adrian will oversee the training and development of all of goalkeepers for the forthcoming 2023/24 season.

Cano, originally from Malaga, brings with him a wealth of experience, having had a massively successful career in coaching, already, within Spanish football. Adrian will take over the head of goalkeeping role at the academy, to go alongside his current coaching duties at Segunda Division side Malaga CF. Adrian's experience in the professional game, combined with his knowledge and expertise in the goalkeeper development make this a hugely exciting appointment for the academy.
Adrian was excited to share his thoughts on his new role: "For me it is a pleasure to be part of the Academy Staff and I am proud that Real Internacional Academy have counted on me as the Head of Goalkeeping. The preparation has already started to make sure our future goalkeepers have the best possible environment to grow."
Technical Director, Daniel Hughes, had the following to say about Adrian's arrival:
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome Adrian to the club, after meeting with Adrian it became apparent this was the man we wanted and needed to take on the Head of Goalkeeping at our club. His track record of working with goalkeepers speaks for itself, combine that with his experience at professional clubs like Malaga CF and it really was a no brainer for us. Adrian's style of player management, his thoughts on football and how it should be played and his overarching philosophies on player development align perfectly with ours as an academy."
"I can't speak highly enough of Adrian as a coach and as a man, we as an academy are looking forward to welcoming him into the setup and getting to work as soon as possible. He will be a big part of our growth moving forward."
We wish Adrian a warm welcome! Bienvenido Adrian!
